Sony’s game was presumed to be delayed to 2023.
If the rumor recently evoked a postponement to 2023 for God of War Ragnarok, Jason Schreier, the star journalist of Bloomberg assures it: Sony’s flagship title in 2022 should not be released on time. According to its source, the title would be scheduled for November 2022. A postponement is of course not impossible given the new post-covid working conditions. However, the Santa Monica studio would have made good progress on the project.
Rumor has it that Ragnarok may show up more this summer at an online event. Sony has indeed adopted a very particular mode of communication with very short live-streams which focus on a main game and a few smaller games.
Sony’s line-up in 2022 is quite poor. That of its rival, Microsoft, too. Most big productions have been postponed to 2023, like Redfall and Starfield.
