Led by Hidetaka Miyazaki, the company is thriving and investors are interested. We learn that Tencent, the Chinese ogre has just bought 16.25% of the shares of From Software, following having also invested in Ubisoft, Riot Games, Epic Games and Supercell. Sony also wants its share and buys 14.09%. Between them it counts almost ⅓ of the box.
Netflix will further enrich its manga catalog
Netflix’s Japanese animation catalog is growing little by little. After Hunter x Hunter, Yuyu Hakusho, Naruto or Jojo, Netflix is ready to do anything to get more. To the point of signing a new agreement with Nippon TV to recover the broadcasting rights of 13 anime, including Berserk, Death Note, Parasyte or even Nana. However, these are not the only projects in the works, live-action manga adaptations are coming soon, the most ambitious of which is One Piece.
