Game news God of War Ragnarok: PS4 PS5 Exclusive Lifetime Leak, and it gives a good idea of what’s to come!
God of War Ragnarok, the next really big PS4/PS5 exclusive, is coming just over a month away, and we’re starting to feel the excitement from fans as the release date approaches. According to a recent leak, the new adventures of Kratos and Atreus are going to be dense, very dense.
Kratos in the North, episode 2!
After several adventures within the Greek mythological world, Kratos exiled himself much further north, to the point of settling on lands ruled by the Norse gods. This life change seems to have allowed him to get a second chance, since he has found love once more and had a son, Atreus. When his wife dies, he begins a long journey with his son to scatter the ashes according to her wishes.
Obviously, the presence of Kratos did not go unnoticed, and many opponents stood in the way of the duo, whose relations were… strained. The two had to learn to communicate and help each other effectively, and they will be on the road once more in God of War : Ragnarok from next November 9, exclusive to PS4 and PS5. We have already had several trailers or even multiple images, as well as the estimated weight of the game on PS4, which would be 90.6 GB. It’s just double the God of War of 2018, already imposing in terms of its content, its scope, and its rendering.
The estimated lifespan on the run, there should be plenty to do!
The weight of the game on PS5 has not yet been estimated, but a very recent leak, published by Insider Gaming, tells us more regarding the supposed lifespan of God of War Ragnarok. And as much to say that the menu promises to be copious according to Tom Henderson, the well-known insider at the origin of this new site. Insider Gaming indeed evokes a lifespan of approximately 40 hours ! Overall, 20 hours would be dedicated to the main story, including 3.5 hours of cinematics. We would therefore leave on 4:30 p.m. of gameplay, which is already very solid.
The other 20 hours of play would be dedicated to exploration and side quests, with 19 hours of gameplay and regarding 1 hour of cinematics. The site obviously specifies that this lifespan is a estimationand that she depends on how the players will advance in God of War Ragnarok. Of course, these times have not been confirmed or denied by Sonybut they match a statement by David Jaffecreator of the license at Sony Santa Monica, made last year:
I hear people who know that this opus lasts 40 hours. They’re aiming for 40 hours of play. I don’t know if that’s for 100% completion for the Platinum Trophy or if it’s an average play time. Is it guaranteed? No. Things are cut, things are added. But what I can tell you right now – 40 hours of gameplay is what they are aiming for for the new God of War.
The most observant will have noticed that the estimates are more or less the same as for the God of War of 2018, but the distribution looks very different. In the previous game of the license, we might count on 25 to 30 hours of play for the main story, and regarding ten hours for the additional content. Note also that in the case of God of War 2018, the approximately 40 hours corresponded upon completion of main and side quests, not 100%, which might take 60 hours without a problem. If Tom Henderson’s repository is the same, God of War Ragnarok promises to be even bigger than its predecessor !
I propose the God of War : Ragnarok
