God of War Ragnarök: Great Relief: Game is coming in 2022

God of War fans have been sitting on hot coals for weeks due to the silence surrounding the new game, but now the all clear has been given, because a postponement to the coming year is apparently not in sight.

When games are too quiet, it creates nervousness in the community. This is what happened with God of War Ragnarök, for which there has been no new information for weeks, let alone more specific dates. In times like these, when a number of games are being massively postponed, not a good sign.

On Wednesday there was finally a video on Twitter asking fans to be patient. The reason for the current silence was that the team was full steam ahead: “Speaking of God of War Ragnarök, the elephant in the room… We haven’t said a lot regarding this – that’s because everybody is heads down, hard at work. We are perfectionists. Everyone’s tightening up the graphics on level three, there is so much going on right now that I just wish that we might share it with you, but it’s just not ready to be shown.”

However, this did not cause much peace and the inquiries from the fans increased immediately. Animation Director Bruno Velazquez was also teased by the fans and finally reacted quite clearly: “Ragnarok is coming this year.”

So Kratos fans can breathe a sigh of relief, a postponement to the coming year does not seem to be in sight. Only current information and a concrete release date are missing, but that will certainly come in the foreseeable future.
