Kratos and Atreus tear the sky and our retinas

Last night was the last State of Play of PlayStation. The show lasted regarding twenty minutes during which the publisher unveiled many new features, starting with a formalization of Tekken 8 via a beautiful trailer. It’s then Like a Dragon : They were who decided to point the tip of his nose and plunge us into the 1860s. Of course, the quest for Hogwarts Legacy exclusive to players PlayStation 5 was also there, and unveiled a disturbing Hogsmeade with an atmosphere worthy of a survival-horror. But the star of the show was of course God of War Ragnarok who arrived at the end of the conference with his big clogs by unveiling a new trailer with breathtaking production. Kratos proves more powerful than ever and ready to do anything to protect a more mature Atreus once morest a full bestiary. As a reminder, the game is still expected on PS4 and PS5 on November 9th.

Breath of the Wild is changing its name and coming in the spring

Yesterday followingnoon, Nintendo unveiled its cartridges in a 40-minute Nintendo Direct devoted largely to games coming out by this winter. The opportunity to discover the announcements of Pikmin 4, Fire Emblem Engage, Octopath Traveler II et Tales of Symphonia Remastered among others, but also to take news of some expected updates. We learned, for example, that Switch Sports will finally integrate golf into its playable options, and that the 3rd wave of DLC is fast approaching for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. But Nintendo has above all decided to end its Direct with a huge bomb: the sequel to Breath of the Wild is now called Tears of the Kingdom and will be released on May 12, 2023 for Nintendo Switch. The whole thing was revealed in a somewhat timid trailer revealing some new plans, including a power that reminds us of those of the Sheikah tablet, and a glider much larger than the paraglider of the first game.

Better Call Saul wins the hearts of his fans, but no statuette

Equivalent to the Oscars for TV series, the Emmy Awards took place on the night of September 12-13. The least we can say is that the HBO series have largely dominated the show. Indeed, the Succession series won the Award for Best Drama Series, Zendaya received the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in Euphoria and The White Lotus walked away with Best Miniseries. Of course, Disney+ was not left out with 3 major awards won: Best Actress in a Comedy Supporting Role for Sheryl Lee Ralph, Best Actor in a Mini-Series or TV Movie for Michael Keaton and Best Actress in a Mini-Series or TV movie for Amanda Seyfried. Ted Lasso also wins a few awards, as well as Squid Game and Ozark. Finally, there is only one major absentee on the podium: the Better Call Saul series, which will definitely never have won anything despite its 42 nominations between 2015 and 2021. What indignant fans of the series …
