Tips to get the best catch

Tim Ward, Head of Quality Assurance at Santa Monica Studio, has posted some tips for implement this photo mode in the world of Ragnarok.

  • Adjust the filter strength, saturation, and vibrance as you like for a greater variety of colors.
  • Don’t forget to add a bullet when necessary to give your photo more depth.
  • Don’t hesitate to rotate the camera a bit, especially when taking combat photos. Add dynamism to shots and not look like the camera is always positioned in a fixed horizontal position.
  • If you want to take vertical photos, you can rotate the camera 90 degrees to get the space you need.
  • Remember: lighting is everything! Your screenshots will stand out if the protagonist is lit accordingly. Know where the source of the light is when entering photo mode so that the character has enough visibility.
  • Take your time when taking a photo until you are satisfied. It is possible that many times you enter the photo mode with a certain idea and that a completely different one occurs to you at the moment. Explore with the camera and move it around the stage to see what you can think of.
