In order to put everyone on a level playing field, PlayStation today released a six-minute video recap of the story of the God of War released in 2018. What to be ready for the 09 next November.

God of War: a six-minute video to (re)discover the story

God of War : Ragnarok is certainly one of the most anticipated titles of the year, if not the most anticipated. It serves as a sequel to the excellent God of Warreleased on PS4 in 2018, unanimously acclaimed by the press and the public: proof of this success, its Game Award for best game at the 2018 edition of the ceremony. A serious selling point three months before the release of its direct sequel, which picks up the story where the players left off.

But don’t panic regarding that! If it is obvious that it will be necessary to update in the plot of God of War to appreciate in an optimal way God of War: Ragnarok, it will not be necessary to play the previous episode. Indeed, PlayStation today released a six-minute recap video (watch above). It summarizes the story of the first opus through the voice of Felicia Day (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and that of Mimir, a character well known to players in 2018’s God of War.

God of War Ragnarok: what is the story?

What to prepare effectively and quickly for the arrival, on November 09, of God of War: Ragnarok on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. In the wake of the announcement of the release date last month, PlayStation has opened pre-orders and then unveiled some elements in the plot that will take place in this next episode. On the program therefore, there will obviously be events preceding Ragnarok: a prophetic end of the world of Norse mythology, with for example a three-year winter called the Fimbulvetr.

Still on this subject, it would be possible for Kratos and Atreus to explore the nine realms: Helheim, Niflheim, Muspelheim, Svartalfheim, Midgard, Vanaheim, Alfheim, Jötunheim and Asgard. A card representing them is present in one of the many editions offered for pre-order: it is the Jotnar edition, at €269.99, which contains it.

I propose the God of War : Ragnarok
