Actor Ko Doo-shim (71) announced on the 23rd that it was “not true at all” that a photo of actor Lee Jae-myung supporting the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung has been spreading through social networking services (SNS) and online.
The controversial photo begins with the phrase “If you love Jeju Island and you love Korea, then this is Lee Jae-myung.” Under the phrase, “Talent Ko Doo-shim from Jeju Island… People’s Power Won Hee-ryong is a human who ruined Jeju Island. Jeju Island 100% vote for Lee Jae-myung as economic president.
On the same day, Go Doo-shim’s agency, Max Power Entertainment, said on Instagram, “The false election-related photos are being spread recklessly by citing comments that Go Doo-shim did not mention at all.” He then rebutted, “Go Doo-shim has never made any comments or related to the post, nor has he made any comments regarding the position of former Governor Won Hee-ryong.”
The agency said, “If false facts or false statements regarding Go Doo-shim are discovered once more, we will take strong measures.”
