Tokyo: The Japanese government has announced financial assistance for those moving from the national capital. It is reported that the government is moving to overcome population shortage in rural areas. 10 lakh for children from deserving families who move from Tokyo to rural areas. The new decision will come into effect from FY 2023.

If a family with two children leaves Tokyo, the capital of Japan, they will receive three million yen. Those who have lived in the central metropolitan area of the city for five years are eligible for the benefit. Those starting a new business in rural areas will get additional help.
