Idan Amadi, who in recent days has been conducting a virtual dialogue with Minister Miri Regev regarding the storm of holding the state ceremony of Shiva in October, was attacked by the comedian Manny Essaig on social media who even claimed “the love you received from all of us confused you a bit. You are not an elected official.”
Comedian and screenwriter Manny Essaig often expresses his not-so-popular opinion on social media, now he decides to attack the singer Idan Amadi, who was also seriously injured during his reserve service as a fighter in Gaza. Against the background of the storm surrounding the holding of the state ceremony of the Shiva in October and the exchange of words between the singer and Miri Regev, Essig decided to express his firm opinion on his Facebook account and turned to Amadi when he wrote “Come on, you’re confused.”

“Hello, Idan Amdi, our brother. First I really like you and you are a great man. Secondly, I wish you and all the wounded IDF complete healing and good health, Amen. And after I’ve written it and meant it, I’ll write what I think about your latest moves: I think you got it bro. I think the sympathy and the warm and loving embrace you received from all of us confused you a bit.” He added, “Sympathy for you is expressed in high-budget campaigns that you receive (with love), and in a large public that intends to come to your shows. And this is my brother. You are indeed popular with the public, but you are not an elected official, and you are no better than any other warrior who was wounded in battle, nor those who were not wounded, God willing. You are not the president of the country and do not hold a public and state office, therefore your compromise proposals are a bit pathetic and ridiculous”
“You chose to take a certain and controversial side and that’s how you left the consensus. You will understandably accept the harsh criticism you receive (excluding the cursing and insults, of course). There are nominal prices for taking a stand, by the way much lower prices if you were to participate in the state ceremony. Then you would be defined as an enemy by them, With those you surrendered to, dear Idan, you should go back to your humble place, and flirt less with alternative anarchists, because good will never come from them. The Jewish state has an elected government, and we only know these ceremonies Good news, Amen.’
These things came in the light of a compromise that the singer and composer submitted to Sara, which proposes that three women who lost their loved ones be appointed as external representatives on behalf of the government and will be responsible for the production of the state memorial ceremony and thus, in his opinion, political considerations will be absent from it.
