There is another wounded. Mixed commissions actively search for criminals.
An alleged confrontation took place this Tuesday night in the state of Carabobo between officials of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and members of the “Los Guaricheros” gang.
The information was released by the journalist Heberlizeth González on her social networks. The exchange of fire took place in Mariara in Carabobo state, behind the Simón Bolívar hospital.
Apparently the criminals attacked the unit when it was passing through the place.
Later it transpired that the soldier Yohandry Escobar died in the event. There is also an injured person, who was identified as Enzo Corro.
After the attack, commissions from the GNB and other security organizations went to the site to search for the alleged perpetrators.
There are reports of clashes in other areas.
The gang “Los Guaricheros” is active in much of Carabobo and is dedicated to the sale of drugs, robbery, extortion, homicide and kidnapping.
