Six people were arrested in Tucupita, state Delta Amacurofor manufacturing and distributing through social networks desserts that were made from Cannabis Sativa (marijuana).
The arrest was carried out on Casacoima Avenue, in the central town of Tucupita, by a mixed commission of the GAES 61 and the Zone Command for Internal Order No. 61 of the Bolivarian National Guard of that entity.
The detainees were identified as Juan Josué Quijada Pitre, 21 years old; Andrés Francisco Mendoza Rodríguez, 18 years old; Luis Fernando Hernández Marcano, 21 years old; Sergimar del Valle Idrogo Narváez, 19 years old; Carlos Manuel Suárez Luigis, 40, and a 17-year-old minor.
During the procedure, the officials found a total of 10 brownie-type desserts made from cannabis, which had a gross weight of 1.2 kilograms. They also found a wrapper of synthetic material with traces of marijuana.
They also seized a Hyundai Elantra vehicle, AA116J0 license plates, and six cell phones. This is according to the information published in Twitter by reporter Delmiro de Barrio.

The procedure was carried out on Av. Casacoima, in the central town of Tucupita.
