LONDON – Gloucestershire Malayali Association, a well-known Malayali association in the UK, is rich in participation. Two more units of GMA came into existence for operational excellence. GMA Gloucester Unit and GMA Forest of Dean Unit started functioning under the parent organization GMA.
GMA will now function as three units. The GMA Gloucester Unit, Cheltenham Unit and Forest of Dean Unit are all geared up for great work. GMA is an organization notable for its many charitable activities. The actions taken during the flood are exemplary. About 13 district hospitals are being helped every year. GMA, which provided houses to five people who lost their homes in the flood and transferred money to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, is ahead of other associations in the name of charity. The formation of the new unit will help enhance this operational excellence.
Good leadership is the basis for all the good work of the association so far. This time once more those who have leadership skills and efficiency have been selected.
Elias Mathew was elected as President and Bindu Soman as Vice President. Ajith Augustine will be the secretary, Rinny Joy will be the joint secretary and Manoj Jacob will be the treasurer. Thomas Kodankat is the joint treasurer. Rajan Kurian was elected as the President of GMA Forest of Dean Unit. Besto Chacko as Secretary, Unnikrishnan Rajapan Achari as Treasurer, Linu Joseph as Vice President and Haines Samuel as Joint Secretary. Sinesh Pulikal Venu is the Joint Treasurer.
