Global Crossing Airlines is looking for crews for the aircraft model. There are currently no Boeing 717s flying for the American airline, also called Global X. It currently operates a fleet of seven Airbus A320s and A321s. By the end of the year there should be 15 aircraft. The Airbus A330 is also listed under “future fleet” on the website.
Traveling in Afghanistan
The airline is only around a year old and specializes in charter services. It offers services for sports teams, wet lease services but also migration and repatriation flights. Her first assignment was humanitarian Flights for the US government in Afghanistan. The airline has placed an Airbus A321 F with Avianca, which flies it in Latin America. It is not clear when the Boeing 717 will join the fleet.

Hawaiian very happy with 717
Delta plans to phase out the plane in 2025. Hawaiian also only wants to be on the road with the planes with T-tail until the middle of the decade. Nevertheless, people there are enthusiastic. Marketing boss Avi Mannis recently praised the Boeing 717 as the perfect aircraft for flights between the Hawaiian islands with high frequency, short routes and many passengers. At the moment one is “very, very happy” with the 717.
