Global Security Summit begins in Manama on Friday

Manama: A global security conference with the participation of defense ministry experts from different countries started in Bahrain on Friday. 450 delegates from different countries are coming to participate in the 18th Manama Dialogue summit, which will take place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel from November 18 to 20. US Under Secretary of Defense Dr. Colin H. Kahl, US Assistant Secretary Barbara A Liff, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and many other dignitaries are coming to participate in the Manama Dialogue this time. From India, Cabinet Secretariat Advisor Alok Raj, Research and Information System Consultant Dr. A high-level team led by Kanika Rakhra is also participating.

World leaders, ministers from various countries, foreign and diplomatic officials and high officials of the military and navy departments are participating in the Manama Dialogue. Various plenary sessions are held on Saturday and Sunday. Sessions are held every two hours. Four plenary sessions will be held on Saturday and three plenary sessions on Sunday. Access to the summit, which is held under heavy security, is limited to those with special accreditation. Apart from Bahrain, representatives from various countries such as UAE, Australia, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Britain, America and others are participating in the Manama Dialogue. Organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies, the conference will conclude on Sunday. The Manama Dialogue was started in Bahrain in 2004.
