Patrik Hjelte owns several McDonalds restaurants in Värmland, but they have been able to stay open and solve payments with Swish, among other things.
– All McDonald’s restaurants are connected to a global network and that’s the problem. Right now we are restarting all systems and we hope to be up and running once more as usual soon, he says NWT.
During the morning the problem was solved in Värmland, according to Hjelte.
– Unfortunately, this is what happens when you are connected to the interactive world. But now the problem should be solved, he says.
Carina Eriksson runs several McDonalds restaurants in Östergötland. She tells Corren that they are trying to solve the problem via other payment solutions.
– We have disruptions and it is not fully resolved right now everywhere. But it is in any case so that the customers can come in, so we can handle it, she says.
In the McDonald’s app, it still says that it is not possible to order.
“Closed for maintenance. WE are currently improving our ordering system. Please try once more later,” says a message that appears when trying to order.
