Casablanca – The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) is taking part in Global Money Week (GMW), which is being held from March 21 to April 3, 2022 under the theme “Build your future, be smart about money”.
The AMMC as a founding member of the Moroccan Foundation for Financial Education (FMEF), thus reiterates its commitment through a diversified program aimed at strengthening the knowledge of young people on subjects relating to savings and investment in the capital market, says the Authority in a press release.
In this sense, the Authority plans to organize immersion days and conferences for students from Grandes Ecoles and universities, as well as the launch of the second edition of the “Finance Quiz” competition for high school students.
The AMMC will also make various educational content available to the public, including pre-recorded educational material on the basic notions of the capital market, a new investor’s guide relating to securities transactions, a game booklet on the capital as well as various digital content available on the Authority’s social networks and website.
Organized by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development’s International Network for Financial Education (OECD/INFE), Global Money Week is an annual global campaign aimed at raising awareness of financial issues among young people and giving them the opportunity acquire the knowledge necessary to make informed financial decisions.
