Naguib Club, a member of the Gold Division in the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that the price of gold today, Wednesday, in the Egyptian local market, was about 1138 pounds per gram of 21 karat, an increase of 8 pounds, from the level yesterday, Tuesday 1130.

And a member of the Gold Division continued, an ounce of gold recorded today, Wednesday, about 1670 dollars, an increase of 20 dollars from the level of yesterday, Tuesday, 1150 dollars for one ounce of gold.

Naguib Club added, in exclusive statements to the “Al-Web” portal, that the price of a 21-carat gold pound increased by about 8 pounds per gram, with a total increase of 64 pounds, to reach the limits of 9100 pounds, after it was closed yesterday, Tuesday, near the limits of 9036 pounds.
Expectations of an increase in gold prices in Egypt
A member of the Gold Division expected that the yellow metal would witness a gradual increase in the coming days, bringing the price of 21 karat gold near levels of 1140 pounds and 1145 pounds per gram of gold in the Egyptian local market.

Naguib Club indicated, during its statements today for the week, that the state of gold trading in the Egyptian market is close to mediation, after it was low during the past days.
In this context, a report issued by the “i-Sagha” digital platform for trading gold in Egypt, today, Wednesday, October 26, indicated that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded the level of 1303 pounds, while the price of 18 karat gold in Egypt increased to reach the level of 977 pounds, and the price of a gram grew 14 karat gold to record 760 pounds.

And gold prices in the local markets witnessed a state of fluctuation during transactions, as the 21-carat gold gram opened the week’s trading near the level of 1130 pounds, to touch the level of 1132 pounds, and concludes its trading near 1130 pounds, during yesterday, Tuesday, October 25, and the global ounce of gold opened its trading near the $1646 area, and it fell to record $1638 this week, to rise near the $2662 level, and close near the $1658 area.
