Glenn Close is this year’s jury president in San Sebastián

Hollywood star Glenn Close will head the jury of the international film festival in San Sebastián this year. As the organizers of the film festival in northern Spain announced on Friday, the Danish director Tea Lindeburg, the Argentine film producer Matías Mosteirín and the French filmmaker Antoinette Boulat are also part of the jury.

The 75-year-old US actress Close, who is known for films such as “Dangerous Liaisons” and “101 Dalmatians”, has already been nominated for an Oscar eight times. She has won three Golden Globes and three Emmys respectively.

The film festival in San Sebastián is taking place for the 70th time this year. The opening is on September 16. This year, French actress Juliette Binoche and Canadian director David Cronenberg will receive honorary awards.
