‘Glass’: First look at villain Samuel L. Jackson in ‘Split’ and ‘Unbreakable’ sequels – Kino News

In 2019, M. Night Shyamalan continues with “Glass” both “Unbreakable” and his most recent thriller “Split”. In addition to Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson will also be there once more. New set pictures now provide a first impression of his return.

In M. Night Shyamalan’s 2000 “Unbreakable,” Elijah Prince (Samuel L. Jackson), extremely fragile-boned due to a rare disease, firmly believed that, just like the stories from his beloved comics, it was an exact… counterpart to him, a hero to his villain. After several terrorist acts, he finally finds what he is looking for in security man David Dunn (Bruce Willis). He lets Elijah, alias Mr. Glass, whose deeds cost many lives, but ultimately commits him to a psychiatric hospital. He’s coming back in Shyamalan’s upcoming thriller Glass, complete with a new super-villain look, as pictures from the set now reveal:

Exactly what role the wheelchair-bound villain will play in the storyline of “Glass” is not yet known. First and foremost, however, it is regarding David Dunn trying to bring down Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), known from “Split”, a serial killer with massive multiple personality disorder. Mr. Glass seems to be pulling the strings in the background once more.

We will find out more by January 17, 2019 at the latest, when “Glass” starts in German cinemas. Other cast members include “Split” kidnapping victim Anya Taylor-Joy, “American Horror Story” star Sarah Paulson and “Unbreakable” cast members Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard.
