Giza: Closure of a famous restaurant in Imbaba (photos)

Giza Governorate intensifies its daily campaigns at the level of neighborhoods, centers and cities to remove encroachments on public shops, commercial establishments, restaurants and cafes on the public road to reduce negative manifestations and provide a safe campus for citizens to walk.

Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, continued, in a statement, today, Saturday, the efforts of the North Giza district, in cooperation with the security services and the utility police, to implement massive campaigns on Talaat Harb Street in Imbaba, which included addressing all violations of licenses, occupancy and food in partnership with the directorates of health, supply, veterinary medicine, and departments of shop licenses and the environment. Occupancy and representatives of gas, electricity and water companies.

The campaign resulted in the closure of a number of restaurants on Talaat Harb Street, including Kebdet El-Prince, to encroach on the sanctuary of the main road and spread the sidewalks by placing food tables, seating benches, ovens and grills for preparing food.

The campaigns also resulted in the removal and lifting of 72 cases prepared for restaurants on the public road and sidewalks, which included (Caterinas – Liver Food Carts – Refrigerators – Preparation Ovens – Grills – Food Preparation Tables – Chairs), which were deposited in the neighborhood stores to take legal action regarding them.

In implementation of the deterrent measures, electricity and gas were disconnected from the facilities, and environmental and occupancy records for violating restaurants and shops were issued.
