**(Elder Buckner):** Thank you for having me. It was an honor to be a part of such a meaningful initiative.
**(Interviewer):** Tell us about this event. What was it all about?
**(Elder Buckner):** On November 27th, we launched the 2023 Light the World Giving Machines campaign right in the heart of Times Square. **(Interviewer):** That’s amazing. Can you explain a little more about the Giving Machines themselves?
**(Elder Buckner):** These aren’t your typical vending machines. They allow people to purchase items like food, hygiene products, and educational resources for those in need, both locally and internationally. It’s a tangible way for people to make a real difference in someone’s life during the holiday season and beyond.
**(Interviewer):** What kind of impact are you hoping to achieve with this campaign?
**(Elder Buckner):** We want to inspire a spirit of giving and remind people that even small acts of kindness can have a profound impact on individuals and communities. The Giving Machines provide a simple and accessible way for people to share their blessings and make a real difference in the world.
**(Interviewer):** It’s certainly an inspiring project. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Elder Buckner.
**(Elder Buckner):** My pleasure. I encourage everyone to visit a Giving Machine if they have the opportunity and experience the joy of giving firsthand.
