In order to launch this new operation, happn wanted to inquire with its members to find out their weak points in terms of second-hand goods. According to the survey results, more than half of users consume it. 56% justify this choice for financial reasons, 24% for ecological reasons and 20% like objects with a story according to the happn press release. A significant number which proves the extent of sustainable consumption and environmental commitment of the happn community. Only 25% of platform users have never purchased second hand, proof that this method of purchasing is now widespread.
