The fuel for these precipitations is the large amount of energy that has accumulated on our Peninsula in the last period, explains the expert on the website MeteoGiuliacciand we risk having strong thunderstorms, with the danger of “violent downpours, steps and strong gusts of wind”. Be especially careful in Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia.

The heat will persist, however. Temperatures, despite a slight drop expected between Monday and Wednesday, will remain “above normal, with highs that will be between 29 and 35 degrees almost everywhere and possible peaks of 36-37 degrees”, explains Giuliacci.
