According to information from regional media, confirmed to Le Parisien, the mother and her little one were in town hall for administrative procedures. The father of the child, whom she would have left before the birth, then appeared and attacked the baby with the help of a rope.

The saving intervention of witnesses

The father, a 34-year-old Algerian, unknown to the police, tied the rope around the child’s neck and pulled him violently by the foot. Then would have started to make it flutter with the help of the rope. It was witnesses horrified by the scene who intervened to control the father of the family. Which would have saved the baby’s life since the rope hadn’t been tightened. The child was hospitalized but his vital prognosis is not engaged.

The father of the family was placed in police custody and then referred on Thursday. According to France Bluehe will be judged in immediate appearance for “aggravated willful violence committed by ascendant with ITT of less than 8 days”.
