**Editor:** Thank you for joining us, Coach Johnson. Your team had an exhilarating match against San Marcos, taking the victory in a closely contested five sets. What did you think were the key factors that led to your team’s success?
**Coach Johnson:** Thank you for having me! Our win yesterday was all about resilience and team spirit. We knew San Marcos would be tough competition, and losing that second set tested our mental strength. The players dug deep, stayed focused, and supported each other throughout the match. The ability to adapt our strategies in real-time was truly impressive.
**Editor:** Your team seemed to have a lot of momentum, especially after dropping the second set. How did you motivate the girls during that challenging moment?
**Coach Johnson:** I reminded them of the hard work they’ve put in this season. I emphasized that it’s not just about individual skills; it’s about how we play together as a unit. We huddled up, communicated about what was and wasn’t working, and made minor adjustments, which helped us regain momentum.
**Editor:** The playoff atmosphere can be intense. How do you think this experience impacts the growth of your players as they continue in the tournament?
**Coach Johnson:** Every match in the playoffs is a learning opportunity, especially in high-pressure situations like yesterday. These experiences strengthen not only their skills but also their mental toughness and ability to handle adversity. I believe they’ll carry this confidence into the next rounds.
**Editor:** Looking ahead, what do you foresee as the biggest challenges for your team in the upcoming matches?
**Coach Johnson:** The competition will only get tougher, and we’ll face teams that have strong offensive and defensive strategies. We need to continue improving our consistency and communication on the court. Every game will require us to elevate our play, and I’m confident that we can do that if we stay focused and work together.
**Editor:** what message do you have for fans of your team heading into the next round?
**Coach Johnson:** I just want to say thank you for the ongoing support. It means everything to our girls. Keep cheering us on as we continue this journey! Your energy plays a crucial role in our success, and together, we can make some noise in these playoffs!
