Giring Ganesha Releases Wolf Mini Album, Here’s the Meaning of Each Song

Giring Ganesha’s MINI album entitled “Wolf” contains three songs full of meaning, namely “Wolf”, “Berani” and “Opium”. The songs discuss love, betrayal, and courage in facing life’s changes.

The former vocalist of the band Nidji released his first mini album as a solo singer, after not experiencing the Indonesian music scene for a long time.

Giring admitted that the stories conveyed in the songs were based on the experiences of many people, written from his perspective.

“So I collected these three songs from people’s experiences, people’s tragedies, people falling in love, and finally I tried to write from my perspective,” said Giring at the press conference for the release of the mini album Wolves at HW Superhouse Satrio, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Monday (23/9).

Wolf : about betrayal and falsehood

The Wolf Song discusses the theme of betrayal from those closest to you, who are depicted as wolves wearing human masks.

This song captures the feeling of being trapped in a world full of falsehoods, where friends become an unexpected source of pain.

The wolf is a reflection of how a person faces betrayal and continues to try to stand firm with the principles of love in the midst of a toxic environment.

Dare is an inspiring song to face breakups and life changes with courage.
