Indonesian badminton ATHLETES are struggling in the French Open tournament which is currently entering the second round.
In this tournament, Indonesia’s men’s singles sector was represented by Anthony Sinisuka Ginting in the round of 16. Because the other men’s singles player, Jonatan Christie, had to fall once morest Taiwan’s representative, Wang Tzu Wei.
In order to qualify for the next round, Ginting had to struggle through three games once morest a tough opponent from China, Weng Hong Yang. Ginting emerged victorious with a score of 7-21, 21-18 and 21-15.

Furthermore, in the Indonesian women’s singles, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung managed to beat the South Korean representative, Kim Ga Eun. Gregoria won in three games, 21-16, 12-21, 21-14.

In the round of 16, Gregoria will host Aya Ohori, who managed to emerge victorious following eliminating her compatriot, Nozomi Okuhara.
In this tournament, Gregoria complained a little regarding the uncomfortable condition of the field.
“The field factor does have an influence, but I’m sure Kim Ga Eun also feels the same way. Only in the second game was I a bit surprised by her condition,” said Gregoria.

In order to reach the last 16, Apri/Fadia must first beat the third seeded South Korean pair from South Korea (South Korea) Kim So Yeong/Kong Hee Yong following winning 14-21, 21-17 and 21-8.
