Ginting lost two straight games 15-21, 14-21. Ginting admitted that Jonathan played better. Ginting has tried to implement his strategy but has not succeeded.
“Today Jonathan played very well, different from previous meetings and I think he was very ready, not only today but from the first half. I have tried everything but he can handle it. Congratulations to Jonathan,” said Ginting.
Ginting said whoever wins will be for Indonesia. He hopes that these results can become another motivation for the Indonesian men’s singles sector, both primary and major.
The reason is, this is the first time since 30 years ago that an all Indonesian final has been held at All England.
“Maybe Jonathan and I didn’t expect it at all, it was really beyond our expectations what we both got today,” he said. (M-3)
