Will Georgia end up with Paul, Zion or Joe in the end? Antonia Gentry (Ginny) gives her opinion
While season 2 of Ginny & Georgia is highly anticipated but still unconfirmed as of now by Netflix, fans are already wondering regarding the sequel. While they already have theories regarding season 2 concerning both Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia (Brianne Howey), many are also wondering regarding the love life of the mother with a painful past. Will Georgia end up with Paul (Scott Porter), Zion (Nathan Mitchell) or Joe (Raymond Ablack)? Attention spoilers !
As a reminder, at the end of season 1 she becomes engaged to Mayor Paul. Ok. But before, she had still fallen back into the arms of Zion, Ginny’s father, before he left. As for her restaurateur friend Joe, who has been under her spell from the start, she seemed to be getting closer to him, even starting to feel something for him. In the possible season 2 of the Netflix series, Georgia might therefore see her romance with Paul disappear, if she ever sees Zion once more or falls in love with Joe.
Antonia Gentry aka Ginny, gave her opinion to TVLine. And she admitted to having a different opinion from the point of view of her character, and from the point of view as a viewer. “For Ginny’s sake, I say Zion, all the time” she said, “but for me, as a member of the public, Joe, for sure. He’s a love”. The one who had reacted to the Taylor Swift clash therefore removed Paul from the equation for the possible season 2.
Brianne Howey (Georgia) also has her ideas on the matter
Brianne Howey, who plays Georgia, and is in a relationship in real life, also gave her opinion on the love life of her character. Speaking to Hollywood Life, she explained of Paul: “I think he’s the perfect image of the person she thought she would end up with when she was watching rom-coms growing up. I think he ticks all the boxes”. And “which I love regarding their relationship, and at the end of it, I think Paul (…) kind of sees her for what she is, in the sense that she’s power-hungry. So is he, and I ‘love it’ detailed the actress, “I don’t know if Georgia has ever been seen in that light, so I think she really likes that regarding Paul, but I think it’s more her idea of him.”.
