The big news of the eleventh edition of theGINdaythe event organized and created by Bartender.it, was the debut of the GIN AWARDSi prizes for the best ginsjudged among fifty candidate references and tasted according to the u201cblind testu201d method by a jury of experts among professionals in the beverage sector as bartenders, sommeliers, producers, tasters, journalists, designers, chefs, influencers and food talent.
A success that has been seen so much in the eyes of the public who are always intrigued by it success stories alternating from prize to prize on the stage of the event u2013 as well as on those of those who triumphed in their category: a genuine and healthy enthusiasm, in which everything came out the pride that comes from the right recognition for the good work done. u00a0Despite the fact that it was only the first edition, the notoriety of the u201ctheGINdayu201d brand combined with the authority that Bartender.it has been able to build over the years made the winners enthusiastic as happens only on the occasion of the victory of prizes of great reputational and symbolic value.

On the podium, in second place was Gin Tabar Bergamotto by Casoni Fabbricazioni Liquori, in third place, Maxi Miliian Gin by Maxi Milian. The Best International Gin crowned by the jury is the Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin by Coca Cola HBC, u201an extraordinary gin made with wild plants harvested in the mountains around the distilleryu201d. In second place was Bareksten Botanical by Onesti Group, in third place was Fords Gin by Compagnia dei Caribbean. For the Best Idea/Conceptrecognition dedicated to the service of gin, the gold medal went toEnfleurage Gin of Enfleurage, judged u201cfragrant, historical, artistic, capable of telling and reinventing a fascinating nineteenth-century story linked to Maria Luigia of Austriau201d. In second place in the category was Pedro Ferreira’s 585.5 Miles, with Prebugin by Brainfusion also on the podium. Finally the Best Packaging u00e8 in Xamorfos by Distill Hub, whose bottle format does not allow the application of an adhesive label that does not crease on the curved side: hence the decision not to glue it and secure it with a pair of recycled rubber elastics. In second place was Saigon Baigur by Compagnia dei Caribbean, in third was Fabbri dry gin from the company of the same name.
