As the organizer announced on Wednesday, the cancellation “has nothing to do with the situation surrounding the song ‘L’Amour Toujours’.” This song recently hit the headlines after racist slogans were shouted at several events in Germany and Austria. The local drum’n’bass duo Camo & Krooked were announced as D’Agostino’s replacement.
Performances in Graz and Klagenfurt
D’Agostino is currently scheduled to perform in Graz on October 4th and Klagenfurt on December 14th, both shows are already sold out. Frequency will take place this year from August 14th to 17th and will feature singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, Austrian rapper RAF Camora and US punk legends The Offspring. Also new to the line-up is rapper Money Boy.
