THE Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Gianyar Regency, Bali, found 777 people who are potential double voters in the temporary voter list (DPS) determined by the Gianyar KPU. “If there are different data elements, we do not dare to declare that the voters are duplicates, because now we are using the de jure principle (administratively),” said Gianyar KPU Commissioner for the Planning, Data and Information Division, Dewa Ngakan Nyoman Suardita, when confirmed on Thursday (5/9).
He also said that the data submitted by the Gianyar Bawaslu members was still indicative or potentially duplicate, namely that Bawaslu only compared names and addresses and when there were any that were the same, it was said that there was an indication that was not necessarily true.
