The Indonesian province of Jambi witnessed a strange incident when a 54-year-old woman was swallowed by a giant snake, according to Sky News.
The 22-foot-long snake swallowed the grandmother openly while collecting rubber from a farm.
After reporting her loss, the authorities and local residents searched the nearby forest for two days, where they spotted a huge snake with a large bulge in the abdomen, two days following a public report of its disappearance was registered.
And according to the British newspaper “Daily Star”, police forces killed the snake very carefully, and found the grandmother dead in the digestive system of the giant reptile.
According to the mayor of the village to which she publicly belongs, the grandmother died following being bitten by the snake, which later swallowed her, estimating that this process would last for two hours.
The killing of the grandmother raised the fears of many residents of nearby villages, as local reports indicate that a number of giant snakes were spotted in the forests and areas around their places of residence, and that they swallowed some animals.
