The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 have become the center of attention in several cities around the world, but this time it’s not because they bring innovative technologies. Using advanced video editing techniques, moving cameras and rotoscope technology, these huge photorealistic foldables were superimposed over images of real billboards and buildings. Rendered on a grand scale but in meticulously realistic detail, the digital models capture viewers’ imaginations by showcasing the distinctive form factors of the new foldables placed within familiar environments.
In addition to billboards, Samsung also took its latest releases to festivals in Hungary, Poland and Romania, as well as a booth at KCON LA 2023, where users can try out foldables, the Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Tab S9 and many other devices .
Finally, Samsung also recalls that the Galaxy Fold Cup 2023 final took place on August 27, where competitors used the Galaxy Z Fold 5 to play League of Legends: Wild Rift MOBA with teams representing more than 2,000 people.
The winning team was OZG with the final held at the Jamsil eSports Arena, in Seoul with an in-person and virtual audience totaling more than 210,000 spectators. The competition was attended by League of Legends world champion, Sang-hyeok “Faker”.
