The game not to miss
We’re not going to lie to each other, we’re breaking up a bit today and we may have to wait… 9 p.m. to have a semblance of a balanced and/or interesting match. We are talking regarding Serbia – Finland, there we are, and a match which casually opposes the team of the reigning double-MVP NBA and incidentally one of the favorite nations of this Euro, to another which clearly aims a round of 16 and more if you like. The Finns are the first Europeans to have qualified for the World Cup, patience is for others, and Lauri Markkanen will once once more be able to count on Sasu Salin, Peteri Koponen and his whole gang of snowmen to piss off the Serbian ogre. Serbs who have chained two fairly quiet if not incredible victories at the start of the competition, while the Finns were surprised by Deni Advija and Israel before recovering by exploding Poland the day before yesterday. What are the Serbs worried regarding? Not sure, but in view of yesterday’s results we want to say to ourselves that everything is possible, even in the land of Santa Claus.
The main issues:
You understood, we only play in Groups C and D today. What are the main issues? The virtual validation of the first place for the Greeks and the Serbs, the second place of Group C which is perhaps played between Italy – at home – and Ukraine, unless the Croats come to piss everyone off world since they should for their part defeat the Estonians without too much trouble this followingnoon. In Group D it is still very vague and if Finland (see above) will undoubtedly have a hard time topping the Serbs, Israel has the opportunity to stamp its qualification by stamping Poland and the Czech Republic has every interest in beating the Netherlands to continue to believe in it. That’s it that’s all.
Quite a quiet day, but we prefer to warn you that it will heat up from tomorrow. Chillage in front of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic, perfect for warming up before serious things?
