Yannis Angelakas announced the suspension of his concerts with a post on social media.
The well-known performer has informed his fans about the early end of his summer tour, due to a serious problem he is facing with his hearing.

“Hi Guys. I’m sorry to tell you but the news is as follows:
After our last concerts, where my ears were exposed to excessive intensities, I will need some months to return to the known “normality”. So necessarily our summer tour stops here and none of our scheduled concerts are going to take place this summer (except the event in ancient Poliochni on Lemnos where we will meet quietly, with Stefanos Thomopoulou on the piano and Nikos Youssef on the musical saw , in a tribute to the owls of the island).
But what saddens me the most is the fact that this tour was our last with 100° C. We had talked about it and decided not to publicize it and to enjoy our last tour in Greece avoiding the naive or even wicked merry-go-rounds of the ages and dramatic separations. Unfortunately we finished a little early. My gratitude to the guys in the band and to all of you who have lived together so many wonderful evenings in the last 9 years. When the time comes I will come back in a different way. Until we meet again”.
