Giannina Maradona, daughter of soccer legend Diego Maradona, was involved in a car accident during the early morning hours Wednesday in the Tigre area of Buenos Aires. The collision occurred at the intersection of Acceso Tigre and Liniers while Giannina was driving her black Mercedes Benz Fox 300.
The other vehicle involved was a Citroën C3 driven by Celeste Roth, a producer known for her work on the popular television show ShowMatch. Both women emerged from the accident unharmed and were promptly assisted by officers from the Tigre Department of the Buenos Aires Police.
At the scene, Roth was asked to submit to a breathalyzer test, which revealed she had 1.96 grams of blood alcohol content. Giannina also agreed to a test, which showed she had not consumed alcohol.
