The police are on the trail of Giacomo Bozzoli, the man sentenced to life for killing his uncle and throwing his body into an oven in the family foundry in Marcheno, in the province of Brescia. The 39-year-old is on the run with his partner, Antonella Colossi, and his almost 9-year-old son, and it seems that he spent his last night as a free man in Spain. This is reported in an article in the Corriere della Sera. On June 30, a recording was found in a Spanish hotel.

According to what has been learned, the two adults gave their documents to the reception and the investigators are convinced that they arrived there with his Maserati Levante. The passage of the car, however, was not detected. The man, who has an expired passport, must have left his identity card at the hotel, then transmitted to the police and inserted into the databases of European police forces.

According to the newspaper, the partner’s father – Daniele Colossi – reportedly told the police that the couple was going to France for “a few days of vacation”. The intention of the two, however, was to reach “the Iberian Peninsula”, as revealed by an investigative source. “This affair is destroying me. I hope that he turns himself in as soon as possible for his own good but above all for that of my daughter and my grandson. In life I have always worked honestly and respecting the law. For this reason I immediately made myself available to the investigators because I believe that this is the best thing for everyone. I hope that the affair ends as soon as possible”, declared Daniele Colossi.
