Ghulam Nabi Azad preparing to return to Congress; Invitation to Rahul’s journey

New Delhi: Senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, who dramatically left the Congress four months ago, is reportedly making moves to return to the party. With Congress leadership

On August 26, Ghulam Nabi left his association with the Congress for more than five decades. In October, a new political movement, the Democratic Azad Party, centered on Jammu and Kashmir, was also formed.

Recently, he had opined that only the Congress can take on the BJP. He also made a statement that his objection was not to the policy of the Congress but to its weak organizational structure.

After the statement, the convenor of Bharat Jodo Yatra and senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh Ghulam publicly invited Nabi to the party. He was also invited to be a part of Bharat Jodo Yatra. Following this, Ghulam Nabi Azad is making moves to return.

The NNI said that Ghulam Nabi spoke to G-23 leaders Akhilesh Prasad Singh and Bhupinder Singh Hooda and discussed ways to return. Report. Both these leaders were recently appointed by the Congress to important positions.

Meanwhile, some senior leaders who left the Congress along with Azad also left the Azad camp recently. These leaders are tipped to join the Congress when the Bharat Jodo Yatra reaches Jammu and Kashmir.

Ghulam Nabi Azad left the Congress following strongly criticizing Rahul Gandhi and his working style. But it is reported that the Gandhi family has no objection to Azad’s return to the party. Akhilesh Prasad Singh, Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Ambika Soni have been assigned by the Congress leadership to hold talks with Ghulam Nabi. Ambika Soni, a confidant of the Gandhi family, has close political ties to Azad.

The Congress leadership suggested that in the event that he left the party following strongly criticizing Rahul, he should first participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra and then come back to the party. But Jairam Ramesh Ghulam invited Nabi to participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra but he has not yet responded.
