In 2011, relative to the end of the Nintendo DS era, Capcom released the puzzle adventure Ghost Trick: Phantom-Detective for the innovative handheld. The director was none other than Shu Takumi, creator of the popular Ace Attorney series of games. In order to give the game a new chance, a port with technical improvements will be released on June 30, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch, also under the same name Ghost Trick: Phantom-Detective. In an interview with Game Informer, Shu Takumi talked regarding the possibility of a sequel to the popular game, among other things. A challenge, as the story is complete in itself. The director of the title also points this out, but does not completely rule out a possible successor.
