Ubisoft has announced that it is stopping the development of new content on Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Released in 2019, the latest opus to date of the Ghost Recon license, was above all made known by its shortcomings. Indeed, the title received strong criticism at its launch, multiplying bugs and crashes. All of this has led to several updates to turn the corner. The road ends there for this episode as the editor announced on his Twitter account:
Hey Ghosts, we have an important message we would like to share with you all ???? pic.twitter.com/kYeyVWVtgi

Here is what we can read on the images:
The last four months have seen the release of our latest content: the all new Operation Motherland mode, tons of new items including iconic 20th Anniversary outfits and Quartz items for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
We will continue to maintain our servers for Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint and we really hope you continue to enjoy the game and have fun playing solo or co-op with your friends.
The future does not look bright for the franchise of the 2000s. Between the next episode Ghost Recon Frontlineswhose beta has been put on hold indefinitely, and with this announcement, we hope Ubisoft finds the right formula to rekindle the flame.
