Microsoft’s latest partnership with Nvidia kicks off the first Xbox PC games on GeForce Now, and Gears 5 will be available to GeForce Now members today following a deal between Microsoft and Nvidia earlier this year to bring Xbox PC games to GeForce Now, according to a report by theverge.
Gears 5 may be releasing today, but many more Xbox Game Studios games and Bethesda titles are on their way to GeForce soon. Deathloop, Grounded, and Pentiment will all arrive on Thursday, May 25, and Nvidia says more games from Xbox will be added regularly.
While the first Xbox PC games must be purchased on Steam to be available on GeForce Now streaming, and Microsoft and Nvidia are working on Microsoft Store support, it’s unclear if this will also include PC Game Pass support, but since the subscription is largely paid for through an app Xbox PC, Microsoft Store support will likely be limited to full game purchases either way, and Nvidia says that store support should “become available in the coming months.”
