The first Splinter Cell is available completely free on computers through Ubisoft Connect. All those users who claim the classic infiltration game starring Sam Fisher in this link before the November 30 at 4:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time) they can add it to their library at no cost. Ubisoft has made this decision to give away the title since just a few hours ago it was the 20th anniversary of its launch.
Splinter Cell invited players at the time to enter “the true world of modern espionage”, allowing them to infiltrate facilities using high-tech accessories, camouflage clothing, and other perks. In addition, the title drew special attention for the interactivity with the environments, which considerably expanded the game options and gave users greater freedom to prepare their strategies, in addition to its advanced technical and sound sectionwhich presented environments with dynamic light and sound effects that were breathtaking at the time.
New details and images of the remake
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary, the company yesterday shared a first glimpse of Splinter Cell Remake. Although, for the moment, we do not have images belonging to the game, we have been able to see the first conceptual images that help us to get an idea of what the product will look like when it is finally shown. We remind you that the remake is being developed on the Snowdrop graphics engine and that will have a linear approach, so it won’t be open world.
