And she continued, that on Thursday it will be the peak of the weather condition, especially from noon until the evening, and the north of the country and even north of Upper Egypt and the western desert will be exposed to a deterioration in horizontal vision, especially in open spaces, and the weather will continue until the early hours of Friday morning and the gradual improvement will continue until stability returns. A member of the media center at the Meteorological Authority called on citizens, especially allergic diseases, to avoid exposure to dust, to wear a muzzle, especially for patients with the chest and respiratory system, saying: “It is necessary to be careful and drive at reasonable speeds on the roads, especially with the increasing dust gusts, and whoever does not have a necessary trip on Thursday, it is better to postpone it.”
And she sent a message of reassurance, saying: “The wind speeds on average will be between 30-40 kilometers per hour and will not reach the rates of the previous wave, which at the peak of the wave reached wind speeds of 60 kilometers per hour.”
She pointed out that there will be rain on Thursday on the northern coasts, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt, and will reach Cairo, explaining that this rain will reduce the amount of sand raised and reduce the intensity of dust.
