The return of “Ugly Betty” is now a reality, and we finally have more detailed images of what this new project will be on Prime Video. Through a trailer lasting almost a minute, the platform allowed us to meet the cast that will be part of the story. Among them, several characters stand out who were part of the original plot and some new talents who promise to make people talk.
As recalled, the project for the return of “Betty, la fea” was announced in July of this year and in August images began to be recorded in the Chapinero neighborhood in Bogotá, Colombia.

When images of the beginning of filming were leaked, speculation began regarding the return of the entire clan of the ‘cuartel de las feas’, which became very popular with the original soap opera in 1999, and with the possible ‘look’ of Ana María Orozco for this new stage. The new trailer for the production is the announcement of the cast, who appear returning to the recording set to take on their characters. One of the details that draws attention is that not all the members of the ‘barraison’ have decided to return: Sofía (Paula Peña) and Mariana (María Eugenia Arboleda) do not appear in the trailer. Although Mariana’s character seems to have been replaced by another actress.
