In a three-minute video dedicated to the warrior priestesses of Umgadi, protecting the rulers of the Outworld, three fighters and their abilities were shown: Li Mei is the heroine who last appeared in Mortal Kombat X as an NPC. She left Umgadi after the death of the princess’s father, and joined the San Do, the local protectors of the law. Tanya is an Umgadi who led the clan after Li Mei’s departure. Baraka is one of the humans stricken with Tarkat’s disease and turned into monsters. The trailer also features Goro and Darrius making cameo appearances helping the main fighters in battle. The second trailer revealed the full DLC roster.
