The HD Reworked Project texture pack for fantasy action RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was so good that CD Projekt RED included it in the new version of the game, but this was not enough for Polish modder Halk Hogan.

As noted by the portal Wccftechthe other day Halk Hogan released a video with a preview of NextGen Edition – an advanced version of the HD Reworked Project for the updated (4.02) and past (1.31 / 1.32) builds of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
In a new video, Halk Hogan shows how the improved NextGen Edition textures look like on the example of the environment elements on the Skellige Islands, in the city of Novigrad, the Toussaint region and other locations.
The audience appreciated the work of Halk Hogan at its true worth. Users noted that the mod affects the game so much that some are even ready to wait for the new version: “Pause my sixth playthrough for this.”.
The release of the NextGen Edition is expected in the second half of the year (earlier it was said about the second quarter). In parallel, Halk Hogan is working on updates to the HD Reworked Project mod for Cyberpunk 2077, the original version of which was released in March.
