Get at least an hour of sleep in the afternoon to correct memory loss

The general opinion is that nap is not good. But researchers at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States have found that sleeping for an hour after noon improves memory and decision – making ability.

Jacqueline Lee, who led the study, says that at least one hour of sleep a night is enough to help adults with memory loss. The researchers studied 3,000 people over the age of 65.

The study team found that those who slept for up to an hour were better physically and mentally than others. The study also found that people who did not fall asleep in the afternoon had three to six times less mental health than others.
