(CercleFinance.com) – Unemployment only increased slightly in Germany in February according to data published on Tuesday by the Federal Employment Agency, suggesting that the labor market is holding up well despite a tense economic context.
The number of job seekers increased by 4,000 to 2.62 million, but the unemployment rate remained stable at 5.7%, as in January.
Adjusted for seasonal variations, the number of unemployed increased by only 2,000.
